hi lee. it's actually henna which came from henna plant. it's an indian customary to have henna done for indian wedding and deepavali. our malay community is very influenced by this graffitti and most of us never miss having this done just before hari raya (and also for wedding ceremonies). it won't go off when you shower but it will fade over few weeks. i'll try to post a picture of the henna packaging. i believe you can find it in malaysia.
