as this will be a stressful year for efi, she got this de-stress gadget to help her cope with life. and i think i should get one for myself too.

it's that day of the year again when everyone needs to change new spectacles with higher degree.

after reading about the government's re-development plan to the last kampong in singapore, i suddenly ponder about the fate of our shop houses such as this. i wonder if my grandchildren will get to witness them one day in person or just gazing at their images in wikepedia.

what's on the shelf for this lunar new year

we went to pasir ris park yesterday for our breakfast outing. the scenery was so awesome. the sandy beach is so clean and unpolluted unlike some other beaches here. and the sea is so blue and inviting that we wish we had brought some extra outfits with us. above picture shows how faiz was appreciating nature at its best. he said that this was the best breakfast outing he ever had.

there are more pictures to flaunt, but i decided to hold on to them first as we will return to the park on the first day of lunar new year with my parents. all my children are so very looking forward because they just love the place as much as we do.

my hub and i love indian cuisine and our favourite happens to be tosai. whenever he could spare the time, my hub will patronize an isolated eatery at wishart road either with a friend, with his brothers or with me. and he will never fail to cup his nose with his hands where the curry fragrance still lingers for hours.

today i couldn't think of anything else but the mango pudding. at 12.40pm, i joined the long Q at mega bites to satisfy my craving.

during lunch when i was buying some sandwiches from mega bites for a couple of friends, i couldn't resist pampering myself with this sweetie mango pudding for my sweet-tooth. believe it or not, it only cost me $1.20.

we had a great start this 2009. we returned to west coast park (again!) on 1 january for our breakfast outing, and this time we dragged my parents and adie along.
