faiz has been down with high fever since yesterday. but we are not quite sure if it's related to the salmonella enteriditis bacteria from the chocolate cake which the children ate on my niece's birthday. it has been a week since they ate the cake, thus perhaps he might have gotten the fever from fatin.
liyana was the first one to fall ill, followed by fatin and arisha. we are glad that fatin and arisha are well now. but now faiz has been lying in bed all day, lethargic and delicate. he vomitted every food and drink he consumed. his abdominal pain had made it worse. at times, he couldn't even feel his hands and legs and i had to quickly give him a light massage to help his blood to circulate.
my sis told me that liyana's condition has improved and her diarrhoea isn't as bad as before.
i hope they both will recover soon.

salmonella in chocolate cake. that's almost sacreligious.
if that happened in the US, the parents wouldve sued everyone by now. the other parents, the neice, people who made the cake. the people who made th eplate that the cake was on, the person who cut the cake. the company who made the knife that the person used to cut the cake, and so on.
