my daddy

my mom-in-law's birthday is only next thursday, but we decided to have an early celebration as this being a weekend. got her a mocha almond cake from royal. it's tasty and i simply lurv the juicy sweet maple syrup in it. my sweet-tooth sincerely appreciate this yummylicious indulgence...

later we shifted from birthday to shopping. we headed to ikea to get few thing things for faiz's new space. we got him a new drawer and big cushions, also new curtain and rigga clothes rack for the girls. i shall take the pix after everything is fixed up. meanwhile, here are some pix at ikea...

my new toy that i got last december

we had to re-arrange the furniture and create space in one part of our living room. this will be a family relaxing corner cum faiz's space. we are trying to create a totally different theme for this corner, nothing ethnics should be left here. all will be modern yet simple.

the glass display cabinet will move to our bedroom as a showcase for my precious moments figurine collections. we just ordered a sofa bed from nova, due for delivery this coming tuesday. more on the list to make this more complete - (1)rug (2)tv (3)steel cabinet from ikea (4)fan (5)partition.

we shall work on the list as we go along. but i need more time to execute this with money being the main issue.

did i tell u dat we hv a new furry? and his name is handsome.

efi went with her friends to open house at few polytechnics and collected some brochures and goody bags from each visit. but when she brought this back from temasek poly, we all got excited. look, that's ben!!! and faiz said, "wow...that's cool man".

we finally managed to execute, complete and deliver the patched butts to their new owner. the problem with us...we can easily get so emotionally attached to our babies. going to miss them.

my hubby helped me to sew these cute butts for a friend who had ordered from us...

we took our kids and my parents for breakfast this morning at labrador park. and i took this picture of faiz and fatin. and while browsing through my album, i found another picture of them taken in jan 2007, at the exact same spot. don't believe me? see the towers at the island across! and if you look closely, faiz is wearing the same designed of sandals!!! it's a sign...

i didn't get to upload these pix taken about 1 week before 2010...satay for dinner!!!
