my parents came to my place to iftar and jemaah today. and the best part...they brought my favourite sweeties!!!

we went to geylang yesterday and got new hari raya outfits for this syawal. we are wearing brown this year, and fatin will be the only one wearing the traditional baju melayu. my hubby and faiz are wearing batik shirts and jeans, efi will be in her butterfly batik top and brown pants.

we went to far east flora at thomson today to get some new pots and packets of soils

and my favourite spots are the wall flower and orchid corners

we went to nus family day at the zoo today. it was fun and ... tired

efi didn't join us as she had extra class and made plans with her friends after that

but the best part of the day was making faiz and fatin stand on these big rocks. well, it's been a tradition every time we visited the zoo since the kids were still very young. we would take pictures of them standing on the rock, located near the polar bear enclosure ..

we watched the best movie ever. it's so touching and entertaining. i love the orphans, but of course i love the small-cute-yellow-moving-things the most.
