the whole gang will be heading to my parents' place tomorrow morning to pack some clothes and to bring over some potted plants back to my place **forgot to mention that my parents are now staying at my humble home until they feel safe to go back** we'll capture the fun moments in pixels and shall upload them here (hopefully by tomorrow itself).

i couldn't resist the temptation and clicked on the beautiful white clouds

we had to come back to work today for ppe (personal protective equipment) training. although we did have lots of fun trying out the attire, we are aware the main reason why we were there.

to tell you the truth, i find this whole swine flu thingy to be quite a scary affair. after what happened during the sars period, we know that we shouldn't take this matter lightly. i just hope that after that 2003's episode, everyone will now be more co-operative and seriously stay home if they are unwell.

i wanted to upload some pix that we took yesterday at my parents' place, helping them to finish up with their packing before the upgrading starts tomorrow. but the internet is so so so slowww, that i managed to upload only these two.

my kids were amazed to find a typewriter hidden behind my mom's cupboard. they were really glued to it after discovering how it worked. didn't know that this would be the effect when IT kids meet manual.

my parents' block is underway for an upgrading. fatin and i went to my parents' place this afternoon for a serious packing.

in the spring cleaning, i found some coasters from my couz

shoveling further into the kitchen cabinet, i found these old drinking glasses my mom had since our kampong days

finally jess has her wish come true. tomorrow will be her last day with the faculty and we had a pizza farewell lunch today for her. sending her well wishes in her working life at the new place.

today my hub helped me to transform my patched butt dinosaur into a 3-d die-cut cushion. it's very pretty. i hope my barbie doll will like it.

i take leave from work today to spend the morning with my hub. he has been working so hard these few weeks, reaching home only between 10pm to 12 midnight as he has been taking up few bookings including some airport transfers, foreign workers shifting house, etc etc.

this morning we decided to go back to arab street to have the first meal of the day. i snapped like a tourist along the way, and these are few of the pictures from my memory card.



our last stop was ikea to buy some fabrics to make a farewell gift for my barbie doll (jess). next friday will be her last day with the engineering faculty, and we (chin chin, umah and myself) shall meet my barbie doll next thursday to give her a farewell lunch (and the gift, of course).
