i have just completed my junk binder organizer.
just look at the mess i need to clear before morning comes. my hub will not stop nagging for at least 45mins if he sees what his wife left behind.

and after clearing the table, i quickly snapped some pictures of my pride.

school holiday has helped everyone (including the family cat) to adopt a new hobby...sleeeeep

it's either i need a new keyboard, or i have some cleaning to do.

naah...i prefer a new keyboard

danu passed away this morning. i lurv him so much and i feel that i have not done enough. his last days had been painful to witness. he had been suffering quite bad after his visit to the vet. somehow his condition became worse after the jab the vet gave him. two days after his visit, his two front legs seemed to go numb and he couldn't stand right. his whole body became weak few days after he lost control of his hind legs. i can still remember when i was cleaning him two days ago. he used all his strength to stretch out his neck, and looking at me with his wet eyes. i felt that he was trying to tell me something. and yesterday, while
feeding him, i told him softly that it would be alright for him to go so that he won't have to suffer any longer. he was 8.

danu's story began "HERE" and pictures of my petz "HERE".

fatin came to us in 1998. i don't think i can ever forget that painful labour. she refused to meet us, and remained snuggling in her comfort zone. after a long ordeal trying to push her out, we had no choice but opted for vacuum extraction.

my baby is 10 today

can't believe that fatin is 10 today (29 Nov 2008). and come january 2009, she'll be sitting in her new classroom of primary 5. still, she is our little girl...our baby.

she wanted a walkman phone and told us the model of her preference. but we have a budget, thus we settled with w200i. it has a simple camera function for her to practise snapping and be my successor. my hub got a ONE gb memory card for her. she doesn't know yet about the not-the-phone-she-wanted. we hope she won't be too disappointed.

she and faiz are spending one week with my parents and they are coming home tomorrow to celebrate her birthday with us. it will be a simple family affair...

this is how my children eat their bread

when i received an email asking for flyers and my hub's name cards pertaining to his transport service, i got all excited. i spent slightly more than 2 hours last night working on the flyer, and i got this done by 11pm. looking at the end result, i'm so happy with myself. the two long hours were well spent :p

took the kids out last saturday and watched madagascar: escape to africa. if you asked me to rate the movie...i'll give it 7/10. it's all thanks to the penguins that i could actually give a rating. i don't know how the movie would fair without skipper and his gang. i prefer the madagascar first movie.

in view of the current economy's crunch and the increasing price on all stocks, my hub decided not to extend his contract as a school stall-holder. he now got into a partnership in transportation, and with the help from one of his partners he bought himself a 14-seater passenger van. i hope this new venture of his will turn our life around.

i can't remember how many ramadhans and syawals we have been celebrating since we first met. but i am praying so hard that next year we can still have our sahur and buka together, and i can still have a peck of his kiss on my cheek in the early morning of syawal like he always does.
