we went to visit my sis at kkh this morning. she's been warded since 14 march and underwent an 8-hour operation on 15 march. she was discharged this afternoon and should be resting at home by now. i wish her well and pray for her recovery.

we decided to go to qian hu fish farm and farmart this afternoon, bringing just fatin with us. and i shot some pictures in classic black and white.

when i saw this 'cow' in the car park, i quickly told fatin to take her position and i began snapping away.

he re-cycled this empty tissue box into a multi-stationery-holder. from the way he keeps his working desk, i always knew that he's very tidy and neat. but he really did surprise me when he got authentic.

i have been feeling the pressure since last week. i could feel the anger, frustrations and fatigue altogether at the same time. the burning sparks in me began to soften as inspirations and ideas started to settle in. i went to popular bookstore to get more materials for my scrapbook. and i started spending my weekend with that sparks... sitting, cutting and pasting on the colorful pages. it helped me to relax.

i don't have enough cash to develop more pix, so i decided to prepare this page ahead of time. i used 5 different materials and pasted them in the order of a collage. this will serve as the background. i shall paste some pictures when they are available.

this simple activity helps me a lot.

the shelves my hubby set up in his food stall were not approved. he brought home two pinewood shelves and gave the silver one to his mom. one of the shelves is dedicated to fatin's nicknacks.

we are now into 3-d jigsaw puzzles, especially my hubby. i can't deny that he's very good at it. i guess men have different visual perspective compared to girls. like they said 'women can't read map and men just don't listen'.

spending the day at theme park. the whole place was a great fun ... except for the haunted house of course. we plan to make wild wild wet our next fun spot.

my hub's new chapter commencing after this lunar new year. he had left the food stall at pandan loop for a secondary school canteen, selling western food. this will be the first time he is going to face a bunch of hungry students in person. the scariest part is to serve them within 30 minutes. can he do it? hmmm...tune in for the next update.

my sister...i admire her for her strength, her willpower, her commitment and her perspectives about life and about people.

we went to lau pa sat with my whole family (including my parents, my sisters and their families) for dinner. and now while browsing for pix to upload, i happen to stumble on this picture i took 2 weeks ago when we had our family celebration dinner at the same place. guess what?! my hub wore the same shirt to this dinner too. gosssh, i must try to convince him to go shopping. he's very stubborn and always tell me "don't waste money".
